Diving.

Honduras 2013 659

A wonderful class shot of our little diving group.

Diving is a really unique experience to share with someone. Being underwater and unable to speak creates this feeling of isolation, like you’re separated from everything else and can only feel what you’re experiencing – the temperature of the water, the slight pull of the ocean current, the sight of a seahorse or lion fish.

But while you are isolated you are also with your diving partner and friends, who get to share those experiences with you.

There are no adequate words to describe it – sometimes; silence can be golden.
