After making the fire on the first night of Jungle Training our group was much more skilled for the fire on the second day. Everyone knew their role in getting the fire started or preparing the meal, and we had some “design improvements” from the last time, such as the fancy pot lid of leaves, or the branch apparatus for hanging the pots to boil.
This meal was also infinitely better tasting than the previous one; full of garlic, vegetables, and little chicken broth packets.
Still, I will always be very grateful when I have a stove to cook with now.
